Welcome to visit and use the [HOOHA LEARNING] website (hereinafter referred to as "this website").
By browsing this website, registering an account, purchasing tutoring courses, or scheduling further education consultations, you indicate that you have read, understood, and agreed to accept the following terms and conditions. If you are a minor, please read these terms and conditions with the supervision of your parent or legal guardian.
I. Service Content and Account Registration
This organization provides services including but not limited to: academic subject tutoring (in-person/online), public exam preparation, overseas and local university application consulting, document editing (such as personal statement) and interview training.
When registering an account, you must provide true, accurate, and complete information. You must keep your account password safe and assume full responsibility for all activities that occur under that account.
II. Fees, Leave of Absence, and Refund Mechanism
Payment terms: All course and consultation service fees must be paid in full before the service begins in order to reserve your place.
Regular leave requests and make-up classes (applicable to tutoring):
If you need to take leave, you must notify the institution 24 hours in advance so that a make-up class or watching the recorded class can be arranged.
For those who request leave temporarily or are absent without cause (NO SHOW), the fee for that class will still be charged as usual, and no make-up class or refund will be provided.
Refund Policy:
Once the course is purchased and classes begin, refund requests due to personal reasons (such as lack of time, incompatibility, or change of mind) will not be accepted.
If a course is cancelled due to the resignation or illness of one of our instructors and the inability to arrange a replacement, we will refund the fees for the unattended classes proportionally. (Note: Hong Kong tutoring centers must comply with the Education Bureau's statutory guidelines on refunds; please adjust according to your actual license situation.)
III. Intellectual Property Rights (Textbook Copyright)
All teaching videos, handouts, notes, mock exams, college entrance exam guides, and website content provided by this organization are the property of this organization.
Without the organization's written consent, students and parents may not resell, reproduce, distribute, or upload the aforementioned teaching materials to any public platform (such as social media or discussion forums). The organization reserves the right to pursue legal action if any violation is discovered.
IV. Disclaimer Regarding Admission Results
Our instructors and advisors will do their utmost to improve students' academic performance and optimize their college applications.
Disclaimer: Exam results (such as DSE, IB, A-Level) and university admissions (such as JUPAS, overseas universities) depend on the student's performance on the day, their school interview performance, and the final decisions of the universities. This organization does not guarantee any specific exam score or admission to any specific university, nor does it assume any economic or legal liability for failure to achieve expected goals.
V. Code of Conduct
Students should maintain appropriate manners and classroom order when participating in in-person or online classes. If any student engages in inappropriate behavior such as disrupting class, bullying the instructor or other students, or plagiarism, the institution reserves the right to terminate their attendance and will not refund any remaining tuition fees.
VI. Amendments to the Terms and Jurisdiction
This organization reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. The modified terms will take effect immediately upon publication on the website without further individual notice.
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
